Beth Appleton grew up with a passion for horses and riding rodeo for the greatest part of her life. Now living in the small but beautiful town of Elbert in eastern Colorado, she has been inspired to draw the animals that have so heavily influenced her life.

Beth is a “self taught” artist and has only been drawing for four years. The medium that she enjoys using primarily is colored pencil. Appleton enjoys the vivid color, control and incredible detail that she achieves with this medium.
Appleton is a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, (CPSA), Greater Castle Rock Artiste Guild (GCRAG) and Parker Artists Guild of Colorado (PAG).
Combining her passion for horses and wildlife, her love for her Sons and her love and faith in God, she has found a way to express herself on paper, in the hopes that her drawings will be enjoyed by others as much she has enjoyed drawing them.
